As of Wednesday morning, the snow has slowed down, but the forecast is for the snow to pick up again this afternoon and evening with another 6-8 inches possible before the storm finally winds down. Temperatures will remain right around freezing, so the additional snow will be nearly as heavy as what we now have.
With these conditions, Mt. Van Hoevenberg and Cascade ski centers should be fully open by the weekend, and all popular backcountry routes will be skiable - subject to the heavy trail breaking and downed branches problems noted above.
