Obviously all the ski trails in the region will be completely covered. If you're going out this morning, you'll certainly earn your trail breaking badge. Getting there is the main challenge. Keep in mind that parking may be difficult or impossible at some trailheads for the Jackrabbit Trail and others. Please don't block roadways with parked cars. Keep in mind County and town highway departments are working overtime just to get the main highways open and safe.
All Essex County Roads have re-opened, but County officials are still asking for no unnecessary travel as things are still dangerous. Please allow crews and driveway plows a chance to catch up.
Franklin County Emergency Services reports this morning: "If the road is open it's basically one lane at this point in time. We're still dealing with snow and drifting snow at this point. I would say we're probably 30-40 percent open at this point."
We'll post another report later today. Until then, enjoy the snow and stay safe.
